I'm a cna and my bosses have extremely high expectations for me and everyone else. A lot of cnas are working over 60+ hours a week and my bosses are getting very mad at me for not picking up more shifts. Since everyone is getting over worked a lot of cnas are quiting or just flat out not going to their shifts. I had to pick up several shifts to cover for them and that's hard for me. My bosses don't know I have mental illnesses so they are expecting me to do what everyone else is doing. The work is generally easy, but I can only work 35 hours a week though and nothing more. They are also tricking me into doing a lot of difficult shifts that no one else takes which really bothers me.
What would you recommend? Should I look for a new job? I would need a very easy one because I'm a little bit unstable and can't withstand stress very well. Should I just ask for part time? I'm not sure if I can get it due to lack of staff though. If I should get another job what would be a good choice? I would like another medical care job that isn't a cna at a nursing home. I could never handle that with my conditions.

When I was in college I worked as an in home aide. I would help people prepare meals and on the night shifts I was just there in case the person needed help getting up to go to the bathroom. It was very easy and most of the time I just watched TV and waited to see if I would be needed.

I actually figured something out, I just have to hope my boss will let me go part time. Thank you for responding though!
