So, I am in a difficult position at the moment. I am probably going to have to quit my job soon, because I possibly have something called POTS (which is a chronic illness. My heart rate jumps HIGH when I stand) so I cannot be up on my feet for too long, but my doctor's are being... Very difficult to work with. As I do not have the diagnosis yet, I cannot get a REAL full job because you have to have the documentation saying you have this disability and need it worked with.

But of course, I REALLY need some extra cash on the side or at least have money I could save up for my hopes and dreams that were crushed because of this sudden illness coming on.

So, are there any kinds of things you could possibly do either from home, or I know there are those Pampered Chef things you could do. I know there's baby sitting, but there aren't enough kids in town who need a baby sitter.

So any kind of suggestion would be great. Thank you!

If you search the threads there is a really long one from a couple months back with lots of work at home gigs. This is also ligit even though there is a small investment.

If you want to do baby sitting, I would make it house and pet sitting too, join something like Care.com and see if you could get some jobs. My cat sitter when I went on vacation in February is normally a nanny, for example.

Maybe you could do some schooling while you wait, get some training that will help after you sort our your medical issues?

Care.com was horrible for me. I tried it and if others have better experiences, I am glad, but I saw why it got bad reviews. I had very horrible luck with it.

Though, I realized cannot do baby sitting because it involves a lot of standing and bending and all the active things that are a bit too hard for me to do. If I cannot take care of myself, then I do not want to be responsible for a child. I realized this, this morning, but am unable to take it out of the first post. Ha, ha.

And I have no money to do schooling, which is why I need a job, unfortunately. But thank you for all your suggestions all the same. (: I very much appreciate the help and suggestions. I will keep looking.

Selling Pampered Chef requires a lot of standing and bending too. I would see a better position being in an office working as a receptionist, operator, claims management for an insurance company, pretty much anything that can be done in a cubicle.

Right now in my school business computer class we're doing a 3-week long program on finding out what jobs and careers are most suitable for our skills, life, personality, interests, etc... Getting money is important. But you also need to be doing something that you're going to find enjoyment from. Of course, your options are limited right now.

Just take that into account. Good luck!
