I was told today I was not considered for a.promotiom because it would freak me out these are the exact words my supervisor told me.my work is exemplary my attendance great, I take on any task that is given to me . Hi have managerial background. My supervisor based this decision on my anxiety disorder.

Im sure you have your reasons but it is a really good idea not to tell your employer about any health issue whatsoever. You never know what prejudices they hold. I'm sorry he treated you this way. Maybe it will just take longer to show him you can do it.

Oh, I'm really sorry. That must feel horrible. Can you talk to her about how it makes you feel since she is also a friend? Maybe ask what would make a difference?

I just don't understand and I was reading over the Americans with Disabilities act.I. It's legal to tell.me it's because I could "freak".out this was also said in front of the girl who.gito who.got promoted.
