so I had a job at subway for a while and things seemed as though they were going well.
but latley I have not gotten any hours there as of late. And they basically told me over the phone they did not think i would get hours from them until agust due to the traffic being slow due to it being a university shop. and being slow in the summer. my manager whom i have tried calling several times tonight, and texted simply asking if I did or did not have work there anymore is just fault out ignoring me and frankly pissing me the ever ****ing hell off. All I want is to know what my job status is. I have been having off and on days with my manic depression and now thanks to my co workers and manager being dicks to me. I am now freaking out and having panic attacks as well. what a great evening. I am hoping I can just take my mind off **** and attempt to calm down and relax some.

kala83, I'm sorry to hear that your work is not responding to your texts. From what you've said, even if you still have a job, there will be no hours until September. Perhaps I would be best to look for a new job in the meantime.

I would look for a new job in the meantime and if a new employer asks you why you're looking, simply state you were laid off due to no business. They cannot fire you for having no business or business being slow.
You already texted him, so wait a few days for a response. I think a week is a long enough time and if you don't hear back, call the HR department and ask for a formal notice. |
