Tell me about yourself? This is one of the questions I'm having a hard time with. What are some good examples for this type of question?

Employers often start an interview that way. Depends on what job you are applying for how you would answer that.
When making friends you can talk about specifics like a book you are reading or a movie you have seen.
Usually people don't want to know your deep dark secrets or your philosophy on life, they want to see how your social skills are and how well you can get along with people and handle stress without stressing out.
What works well for you to answer this question.

Thanks. I'm actually focusing more on getting a job at a grocery store, and possibly clothing stores, and maybe the library if I decided I want to change that volunteer work into a job.

My response is usually something like this "I'm a passionate hard worker who is dedicated to getting the job done right." I must be doing something right cause in 8 years I've only ever had one job that I interviewed for that I didn't end up getting.
Thanks for this!

Good luck getting a job. That can do attitude is probably just what the jobs you mentioned call for.
Thanks for this!
