I wasn't fast paced enough for them.
I'm just worried with my chronic pain i'll never find a job. I'M ONLY 19! I cant work normal 7-8 hour shifts because I wont be able to move for a week after. I don't know what to do. They gave me 3.5 hour shifts which was nice I have painkillers. Strong ones that make my friend and my boyfriend go giddy and tired. I feel the pain right through them and I don't feel tired or giddy. They don't work much. Any stronger ill be into narcotics. I feel really trapped in my situation. Physiotherapy did help but the pain came back but I cant afford to be in physiotherapy. It takes up time i need for a job that I cant work and money I don't have because I cant work. I feel so trapped. Can't work. Can't afford to feel better. My choices are don't work and go on welfare or work and feel the most excruciating pain in my life or become a drug addict on narcotic pain killers. |

it sounds like you need to find a job that doesn't require physical labor. check into a voc rehab program which will train you for jobs around your disability. take care.

I know the feeling of being criticised because you can't "keep up".
I hope you find something to suit your situation and needs

I am so sorry for the situation that you are in. Painkillers are truly addictive as you know and they cause many more problems than they resolve. It's a double edged sword. I do hope that you find suitable employment.
Best Wishes

This is an issue I have in work as well.
![]() If pain is your only issue, I do think you should consider maybe applying for secretary and administrative type jobs. Something that doesn't require physical labor. |
