I use to force myself to work, just normal kinds of jobs, because I felt inferior because I didn't have a job. I would end up episoding and burning in a world of pain, that took years to recover from. As I got older, the risk outweighed the reward. I was doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Looking back it was worth the effort and the pain, to later on reduce the pressure from forcing my unwell brain/body to work a job.
I would get the jobs and say to myself, don't get too use to the workplace or people there, the work wasn't difficult, it was just dealing with my brain/body. And those stressed out with fulltime jobs trying to pay off mortgages and survive like to shift their personal anger onto those who don't have gainful employment. |
