I got a second job, that will take over for the old one.... and I feel very overwhelmed. This feeling is new to me, and I'm afraid that taking on two jobs will be very busy, and I won't have time for me and my recovery. I have never done two jobs before, and I'm a little worried... please ease my worries.

((((puzzclar))))

Taking on a new schedule is its own stressor. It's an adjustment. My first thought was to pencil yourself into your new schedule. Incorporating your downtime, does matter. Eventually, hopefully all falls into a comfortable routine. May find quality over quantity, so to speak.

Good Luck with your new job!

I agree with healingme4me, writing down a weekly schedule that includes time to unwind would help. Plus, just having it on paper might be helpful.

It's a temporary situation, right? I find it helpful to remind myself that there's an end in sight.

What are you afraid for? New team or new duties?

It could be too much, you will have to see how you like it. I never liked working two jobs and usually would cut back to just one each time I tried. It's about preference and what you want to do, not success/failure.

I'm afraid of missing something or something happening that would end in, me not knowing what to do...

It may be temporary or it may be a few months.... not sure yet.

As for the me time, I will need to schedule sleep time, and I'm wondering if I can handle the schedule and still get the recovery time in.... Also worried about getting into triggering situations and keeping my cool.

A few months is still temporary. I hope it goes okay and you can always make adjustments as you need to. Working two jobs *is* challenging, so take good care of yourself!
