I saw something today that left an impression on me. A family came into work today (I work retail) and the dad bought 1 item. This item was for himself but his kid wanted to see it. So the dad handed it to him and said yeah that's really cool to his kid. Now this seems normal enough to some I'm sure but to me I was always told not to touch dad's stuff. Prob why it had meaning to me. It just seemed like they were connecting. It also appeared like the dad didn't have a lot of excess money due to no credit card and little cash (could be a coincidence) It was so awesome for me to see something so positive in a job that can have some pretty grumpy people now and then. I just wanted to post to shed some light on what can be a dark place for some. (work)
Thanks for this!

I know what you mean. My mom's things were hers and god forbid I touch them. It is nice to see something like that at work. It adds a bright spot to the day

When you look for the good you generally find it. Thanks for the reminder.
