I'm a designer for about 10 years now. I don't know what to do with my life. I have been in this career for a long time but I can't seem to do anything creative anymore. Does this happen to anyone else too? How do you deal with it?

Sounds like what writers would call a writer's block. Have you gotten stuck into a routine, in life, that could be the culprit?

Would a small vacation or similar help you recharge?

Mochi2.0 - I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with not feeling creative anymore. That's really tough. Is it possible that you're depressed? Depression, for me, pretty much kills creativity (as well as any kind of drive to get things done).

Hope you can find a way to recharge!

I've been diagnosed with Bipolar II and ADD. I'm depressed and I struggle because I can't understand what is going on in my life. I'm in Japan and I can't go to therapy since my Japanese is not good enough. I hope finding friends here and talking to people going through the same things will somehow help me not feel alone and eventually, when I am no longer depressed feel creative again..
