I've been in my new job for a month, but had previous experience in the field. The problem is I am swamped with work and I can't handle the stress. I work in a target driven environment and expectations are high which is adding extra pressure. I told my manager I am a little overwhelmed and she gave me some advice for time management but it wasn't that helpful.
I leave work absolutely exhausted and wake up in the mornings barely able to get out of bed. Today I was near tears with stress and I'm feeling so rundown, I have mouth ulcers and a sore throat. I really enjoy the job, but I'm overwhelmed with everything I need to balance. Im not sure what to do ![]() |

I had mouth ulcers a few months ago partially from stress. I found that using hydrogen peroxide as a mouthwash helped.
I hope you start feeling comfortable in the job soon. Take a lot of vitamin C for your sore throat. |

Sounds like you are going to have to lower the target expectations come hell or high water.
