I'm nervous about this stage. Branching off into the professional world when im meerly just a hobbyist.
I don't think my work is good enough i have so many doubts. But im gonna do it anyway. I want to get buisness cards a professional website with my chosen penname as a domain. I'm going to advertise (when i get more finished works) and do the whole shabang. I dont have a degree in art or anything so i'll go to art school and dual major in studio art and computer science. For now i am going to give this a shot. Tips and advice please i would love to hear from you guys on this. |

There is a precept I once read that went: "Walk toward what scares you." So I celebrate your decision to chase your dream, Hayla!

Hayla, live your dream. If you love something then it will flow from you. And never doubt the talents you have been given, just perfect them. (((hugs))) I am proud of you!

I am a professional illustrator/designer and I think it's great that you are pursuing a dream. Art school was helpful but it may not be necessary. There is a lot of info online about how to build a portfolio and how to manage a freelance business. Most entrepreneurs just "do it" and try different things.
Persistance is the key and even if even if you get discouraged just keep doing what you love! |
