I feel so relieved! I'm approved for 12 days with unknown duration per day not to exceed 12 weeks. I think the wording is more lenient than what my Pdoc requested on the form. He asked for 1-2 days/month with a possibility of more days added in the future. I so wished I would've gotten off my *** and done this at my last job, I would probably still have it. At least I feel job security for once!

I just finished 3 weeks of medical leave, I wonder if I can get some sort of subsidy.

Congrats! I'm still waiting to hear anything on my claim. I'm not even sure yet if my pdoc has submitted the paperwork for me.

Hooray! I was approved for a leave, and it was such a relief that it was. It took about 18 days before it was approved. Off until May.

So, I took FMLA Tuesday - Friday of last week. The last two nights at work have been rotten. Few people said hello and frequently talked about how bad Friday was within my earshot. They seem to have dismissed that 2 other people called off too, AND, staffing isn't my job. It's not my fault the only one PRN person never comes in. We have ALL worked super short, it's the nature of the beast. We've also all complained about management being unable to staff the building. This job is really testing me, lots of stressful issues. However.....I'm gonna make it to 2 years at a job or die trying. I hope I don't die trying
