Tonight I carefully asked my manager how much trouble an associate would get into if they threw away a company radio and were suspected of stealing. Someone, my previous manager, tried to set me up for this. I would have gotten into insurmountably trouble, would have gone on my record, and I would have been instantly fired.

So tomorrow I'm having a chat with my boss about this and am probably going to resign. I'm done keeping silent. I collect SSI so I won't be completely without an income. Lots of places hire for the holidays. I'm sure I can land a seasonal job. I'm not worry about finances. But I really like working there....Oh well. I'm uncomfortable being there now.

I could actually press charges against the company if they go back and prove this manager did it.

Hello vintagexsoul: Well... since you posted this yesterday, I presume you've had your discussion with your boss by now. Hope it went well. Good luck!
