I asked my boss what all I need to prepare for the new VP when she gets here in 10 days. Like what reports she'll want to see, etc., and as we were talking about it, he said "I don't think she's going to be too worried about your division right now. You guys are knocking it out of the park."
Wow. An actual compliment. Can I get a raise now? Seesaw

I'm really glad this happened so you know your respected and the company likes you. I know you have had some thoughts of finding another job. The truth is there all about the same. I had a job at a tech college and thought it would be more professional with a nice work environment I do mainly manufacturing jobs. It was a terrible work environment. good for you!

I submitted a proposal to my boss late last night for a promotion. He hasn't responded yet and I hope he doesn't just write me off in an email.
