If the toxicity of the work place is making you feel ill with sadness, anxiety, aggression, stress and frustration. If you can manage to leave and still pay your bills and survive until you get another job then I would advise you to leave. I have recently done the same thing. It's very stressful but ultimately you have to decide if you are willing to accept the situation as it is or if you will leave it. It comes down to if you would be able to change your attitude to accept the environment if you did decide to stay which from the sound of it you wouldn't be able to do because it's so horrible.
I wish you nothing but good luck.
This too shall pass.
