So my workplace has bonus awards. Apparently instituted because they couldn't be sure we would get raises. Of course they are cheap and lame and taxable. So every year they go to the people that do NOT deserve them.

So this year I insisted I was going to get a group together and we would all vote for people who deserve it together.

But guess what? All my "friends" do not want to participate. Oh they talk a good game all the time about people not getting the awards who deserve it but when I put some names out there and a plan to get awards... they are all luke warm?

I don't get it. But now I don't feel like participating either.

People are sheep. They are afraid fighting the system will get them in trouble. They don't understand, no risk, no reward.
