Hello Everyone,

So I am going to start back working after being off of it for sometime. I recently learned that you cannot take short term or long term disability for pre-existing conditions. Previously, I believed I would be alright because I figured that I would pay the extra money monthly to secure the ST or LT disability for me just in case I have a psychotic break and need to adjust my meds but since I cannot do this does anyone know of anything similar that I can pay for that will pay me on the chance that I am out of work dealing with my mental health. I know the government has SSDI but I don't think I will be that severe again. I just need something to hold me over a few months just in case. Does this even exist?
