Took the last 2 days off because the depression became too overwhelming. Planning on going back tomorrow and have a meeting with the boss. Worried about going back and the meeting. I've not been myself and am afraid of being unable to do the job anymore. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow after work. Hoping something good will come from that. Not sure what, but I'm praying and hoping.

I'm trying to do some work now, and it's like pulling teeth.

I have bipolar I and am also an alcoholic/addict. Not as bad as I used to be. Haven’t gotten high for a long time. But I have a lot of concentration and focus problems at work and I’m on the verge of losing my job. I’ve tried a lot of different medication and I’m sensitive to them and often get most of the side effects and I just don’t know what to do anymore. My bosses have been patient with me and I am concerned. It’s difficult keeping it together.
