Work wasn’t too bad today. My favorite coworker was there but she’s leaving. A couple work days ago someone got in trouble for something that had been going on since I had started. I felt bad since I never thought twice about what was being said. I feel bad now that I never noticed. Also today I should have done something differently that would have made the task go more quickly but I wasn’t thinking. But the day went well overall.

Although everyone is getting very frustrated about the Christmas situation but I think they are working on that.

Today is probably the worst, worse than my evaluation day. So bad I couldn't talk about it all right now...

I’m feeling tired today. Work went fine I guess. My coworker wanted me to work with her because she thought I needed to be saved from my other annoying coworker. The whole situation just frustrated me though. I know my coworker was just trying to be nice and I really aprpreciated it. But I like the side I usually work on and I’m used to it. Yeah that coworker is annoying but I can tune her out. I didn’t want to be rude though. Another coworker got in at 9 and my manager rearranged some people and I ended up back on my usual side.

I do appreciate my coworkers looking out for me though. My manager is looking for another job and it’s gotten me concerned. I know I’m a good worker so I just need to stay focused on the work I guess.

even worse than two days ago.

I'm full with anxiety for the last three days. Work amount is high and I keep getting unpaid overtime. One of the work including the event, which will be hosted tomorrow. Instead of prepare more than one week before, they just started on this Monday. First, they assigned me to make a dozen of dummy boxes. We were in hurry. Unfortunately, the usual vendor needed more time to get the job done, so I must find a new vendor. Called the procurement to find one, but too expensive the boss rejected it. Got to find another new one with cheaper price and good quality. It took me more than 6 hours and called some vendors until I found the one who agreed. They provided prints only since we ordered in a very small amount, so I've got to cut and crafted them alone. This morning, I got the job done. I was relieved from the deadline pressure.

Guess what? At the evening 2 hours before the clock-out, they told me to print the other one... the brochure paper! which was.... could be done in the same day with the dummy box with the same vendor if they either remember or have any sense to make the order clear and complete and want to make the job done quickly! I had to find a new vendor because the dummy box vendor couldn't do it in one day. Finally got one after waited and searched for two hours. I was full of anxiety and worried sick (if the prints or event somehow gone wrong) and also angry (because of the double job that could be done in one single day). Thankfully, the prints went all right. And at least, the one who assigned me with this task took the responsibility by picking up the prints.

My new coworker is about my age or a little bit older and is a female. She wasn’t very friendly today but it was her first day. I’m not being very fair I don’t think. I’m so worried she’s going to be mean and like that one coworker and she was probably just nervous or something. I need to stop being so hard on other people.

I was just hoping the new coworker would be older.

ugh. another blame.

yesterday, I asked my manager about the status of one of the projects. She told me to send it to procurement. (Note: when we send this design file to procurement, they will assume this file is final and send it to the vendor to be mass produced.) I somehow felt skeptical since the big boss has not seen it yet. So yesterday, instead of sending it to procurement, I printed it to HVS paper and show it to the big boss.

Today, I got a blame and reprimanded because I skipped the other manager's (before the big boss) permission. However, I just saved my *** from even more disaster. I would get so much trouble if I follow my manager's order to send it to procurement; meanwhile, she could easily get away because there's no written evidence from her order.

I am angry and hate this. While it was true I skipped the other manager, I don't think it's my fault because somebody told me to give it to procurement while I had no idea who should I gave it to. Ironically, I successfully minimalized the damage I'd get by trusting no one. I can't trust anyone at work anymore. I guess I've got to follow my instinct from now on.

Work is a mess. Like the backroom is messy. Only one person knows how to do a certain job that will make it way less messy. He doesn’t seem to have the time to do it. So the mess just keeps piling up and up. My work station is so messy. I’ve lost my balance a couple of times tripping over things. I don’t want to say anything because he’s already stressed enough about it. I was off today so hopefully it was taken care of today. Also the work in general keeps piling up. It’s mostly from last week. It was rough last week. 4 people called in one day and another day was just a bunch of new people working. I’m hoping something gets cancelled this week so we can get caught up. I guess technically it’s not my problem and I’m doing everything I’m supposed to. I haven’t called in in a awhile and I work fast. I just am stressed about it.

Thursday will be my one year and I’ll feel some relief. Everything starts over then. I have used 9 out of 12 of my sick days. After my one year I can focus on having zero sick days. Also I accidentally broke a $70 tray. We don’t actually have to tell anyone when we break something. I’ve told them in the past and they have just told me what to do with it. So I know where to put it and stuff. I’m worried because it was pretty expensive. I’ll admit to it if they ask me about it.

But yeah I’m pretty anxious about work.

We got talked to as a group today. My manager said that he noticed people standing around yesterday. I was having an off day myself. I think my coworker I was working across from was having some sort of medical issue. She kept putting her hand down her front of her pants and her back of her pants and scratching herself and then just standing around doing nothing. Then she’d go on break early. She did the same thing today. Also today at the meeting my manager said that people were wandering around the store yesterday. That was also that coworker since she announced that she was going to go upfront to do something. I was in the back the whole time. I knew I was having an off day though. My manager said that he felt like people were sometimes doing the work of two people. I felt like that particular comment was directed towards me. I often work with this coworker and I feel like I’m doing most of the work. I was really worried though. He was talking about switching people around and it felt like he was talking in code. When it was safe to ask I asked him if I was in trouble. He said no and mentioned two names. Another manager was in the room and said that if I was doing something I would be told.

Is that true? If I was really doing something wrong would I be told? I’m willing to work on whatever it is. My mom told me if they are saying I’m not doing anything wrong then to trust them.

Yes. That is true. I'm with your mom on this.

My new coworker has a second part time retail job. She works a few days at my job and then a couple days at her other job. So it should be fairly easy to find a second part time retail job after the holidays. Maybe I could even look at the other place she works. It wouldn’t hurt to apply. The work I do is pretty much the same type of work at every retail job.

work today isn't too awful, but I feel slightly annoyed lately. So, my supervisor will marry soon, in 2 weeks. However, the other female coworker keeps flirting with him. I usually stay silent and ignore them, but lately they become more and more straight-out. Aside of immoral, they flirt each other too loud it disturbs my concentration. Funny thing is: other coworkers seem fine with them, though there's probably a backstabbing gossips behind this.

I feel like my new coworker doesn’t really like me. I don’t think she’s insane like that other one. So I don’t think she will be nasty to my face like she was. So I guess I shouldn’t worry. We have new rules now. Basically they just mean we have to work harder and there is a lot more pressure and stress put on us by management. The good news is the second job may not be necessary since I will continue to get so many hours. I’m stressed enough with one job. Plus In the grand scheme I feel like this job is still decent.

I’m just working my regular hours and doing my regular job on Black Friday. I’m glad I don’t have one of those retail jobs where they demand you come in at 3PM Thanksgiving and work the front door with people pushing through like crazy and then spend 12 hours on the floor dealing with a messy store and downright mean and nasty and often violent customers or else you’re fired. I’ve had jobs like that before. They are not fun and are dangerous.

work today is awful. My supervisor -who will married soon- flirted again with the other woman (other coworker). So loud and annoying I have to raise my earphone's volume.

The pervert manager had birthday and everyone couldn't stop talking about him. I don't get it. He is a pervert, why does everyone cheer at him? Should they get harrassed too in order to understand? I hate him to the guts, wish I could beat him.

The tasks today weren't too high, but my supervisor and manager had trouble to decide whose concept to choose, so I ended up wasting my time and effort for creating based on the two selected concepts... which was later discarded. Thanks to them, I've got overtime, unpaid like always.

My coworker was being pretty lazy and slow today. She kept overfilling her bins instead of getting new ones. There was stuff in the way but it was pretty easy to move. Because her bins were full she was going slow and holding the rest of us up. The manager didn’t tell her to get new ones he just kept making general announcements of empty bins being available. Finally 20 minutes before the shift ended she got a new one. It took her about 3 minutes to do it. It almost seems like she’s procrastinating on purpose. She does other similar things. Like pick the smallest boxes when that’s not the one that’s up next. I get doing that when there’s 5 minutes left in the day but doing that 10 minutes into the shift is annoying. I don’t know. It just seems kind of lazy and she just seems like one more coworker who’s work I have to pick up. On the bright side my work station was cleaned up.

Work was weird today. My manager was there when he’s usually not. A coworker got yelled at. Not like screamed at. But yelled at for working on something for a few hours and still not having it done. When this coworker was out of earshot other coworkers and manager were making fun of him behind his back. I just stayed focused on myself though. I worked fast and did my job correctly. I personally had no issues with anything today. My anxiety was just bad because I stopped for coffee this morning when I usually don’t.

Worked on building my business Twitter following today and had some success. Also did some of the temporary work for the pet food company. It's Saturday but I am actually happy I worked since I had no other plans.

Work went well today. Usually I feel like I did at least one thing wrong or said something I wasn’t supposed to. But today was a good day.

Black Friday is tomorrow. I get there before the store even opens. My store doesn’t really do Black Friday. I’m off at noon. There’s a truck waiting for us. So I’ll be in the back. There should be a ton of equipment. I plan on skipping my break and staying in the back my entire shift and then making a beeline for the clock. Manager said we shouldn’t be busy anyways in the morning. I’m hoping for the best. Last year was a longer shift in the middle of the day and it went ok.
