So I landed a great client a couple of weeks ago. We have done an immense amount of work in just two weeks time. She wants to block out time with me through the end of the year. She is going to fly me out to her city to meet with her and her team and get us all prepared for the rest of the year working together. This will be a significant contract for me, and also take up more of my time so I will have less for other clients. Potentially, if we like working together, she is interested in me coming on full-time and moving to her city. It's a major west coast city and I used to live there and I loved it and miss it.

I just want to say, I floundered around for 6 months after losing my job, then I started believing in myself again and putting myself out there with confidence. So even when it seems like all hope is lost and you're on your last dime...keep at it. It takes a while to find a new job, but the right one will come along.
