at my work I was called uglee and I am looking for another job because of it. beteen my anxiety and people calling me names. People don't understand my anexity because I don't tell a lot of people. I wish people would stop hurting my feelings.

I am sorry to hear that. At my work place it happens too, some think it's just a joke and not to be taken hard, and so on...
There are some ways how to respond depends on the situation and how much other employee can give support. Maybe you can show that you're uncomfortable by not responding to it, move right away when that happen, show any other gesture. Or maybe you can ask for the superior or HR because they are responsible to develop healthy working environment. Or maybe you're right it's not just a healthy working environment and need to find a better one... Hope you'll find the best solution. Success to you |

I’m sorry. That type of behaviour (calling people ugly etc) is cruel. And I agree, it is verbal abuse.
I hope you find another job where the people are not such *** holes...
