I thought I had covered the receiver and hung up when I said I couldn't be done going in.
The same boss that phoned made me come back into work one time after I walked home so I had to walk their and back twice in one day. 8 miles followed by a 9 hour shift where I was moving and lifting all day. I got really drunk and was out partying. I was 18. I wasn't even at my own house when he rung. So I said I was sick. I forgot to cover receiver properly. And I groaned OMG o can't be done with going in, got a thumper of a headache. I would never have had the gall to say that to my boss. I had more respect than that. I was embarrassed when he told everyone about it. So what I was young. There's too many chiefs in retail and not enough Indians. It's easy to see that retail ways are all stolen and inspired by Americans. |
