so I have heard some of compassion fatigue I don't know a ton about it and even when I went to my public library today I could not find much on the topic I thought I would bring it up here and ask if anyone knew more about it? or hand reading material I could find on the subject.

I thought I read people that get it can have depressing like symptoms and also have loss of apatite I just recently went to the hospital and stayed at the psychiatric center.

I think multiple things caused me to end up going. But I feel like working in health care is a very stress filled job, more so then others. You have to attempt to deal with your own life your own issues, and your own problems but you end up caring and sometimes worrying over people you work with. All without trying not to cross that professional/client line.

I happen to work in home healthcare and spend more one on one time with my clients then other people. So getting to know that am and getting maybe attached even on a professional level can bec challenging at times.
