I've been at my current job FT (reading teacher) for almost one academic year. It is that time of the year to renew contracts and I spoke with my boss recently. He asked if I had any interest in staying with the school for another year and possibly moving into my desired position (ELL Teacher). Now ... the pay won't be much more, and there are other schools that will pay more. Should I still look around at other schools, or stay here? I feel slightly pressured to stay partly because I said I'm interested. Contracts will sent out to teachers either Friday or next Monday and we have a few days to decide.

If I decide to stay, I can always quit before the following school year if I find something better??? I'd feel bad if I quit after accepting.

Pros: I like the school, I know the students (I worked PT before this job with a lot students for over a year and a half), and ease of transition to new role.

Cons: far commute (30 mins w/o traffic), slightly lower pay than surrounding district

What do I do?? HELP! :/

That's a tough choice. That commute eats up a lot of time. I would contact other schools. If I didn't, I would always wonder what could have been. If you do get a job offer elsewhere, it puts you in a strong position to negotiate for a salary increase where you are now (unless that is all locked down to certain amounts through the school board?).
