Healthcare workers are waging the battle against the pandemic. But I've heard some experts say that the next healthcare crisis will involve large numbers of people with PTSD and depression from the fear and social isolation we're experiencing today. The thinking is that the need for therapists will be great.
So I'm wondering, how are we (society) preparing for this crisis? Does anyone know of a grant for studying social work, or a fast track internship, or any other shortcut that might allow an undergrad to practice and avoid going through an M.S. program (or at least paying for one)? The title says "Art Therapy" which would be great, but any track would be nice to know about. |

I agree that many people’s mental health will suffer great deal
But. I personally do not recommend short cuts. I’ve met people who went through variety of short cuts in order to obtain particular careers without going through proper steps and it was a disaster every single time, they weren’t capable or prepared for the task I recommend you obtain appropriate degree and licensing (if you state requires that) Now, there are several graduate schools that provide faster route in getting your masters, provided you can do it full time. There are reputable schools that might get you through in one year of intense training (those are always private schools) |
