By first job I mean the first one that isn’t summer work for family businesses.

After 6~8 interviews I got accepted as a Resident Assistant at my college! I also got assigned to the LGBT floor which I’m SO excited for! I’m so surprised that I managed to get that assignment since there were tons of other LGBT individuals applying for it.

I’m terrified of the training process but excited to take this step!

Congratulations! Sounds like an interesting job. I didn't know they separated people by sexual orientation.

It’s not required! It’s a Living Learning Community so you apply to live there (a lot of people join so they can openly express their gender + sexuality without harassment from other students!)

That's excellent! I've known some people who have been RAs before and they enjoyed it. I'm sure you'll be great at it! Just be yourself and you'll be perfect. I'm sure the interviewers saw something in your personality that can benefit others. People will look up to you. There's a lot of responsibility, but I think you'll enjoy the job.
