She claims I'm making mistakes on entries i know i checked. I told the boss I'd take pictures of my work to prove I'm not making all those mistakes but that's a hippa violation. I don't know how to prove my innocence.

What kind of mistakes and how would they violate HIPPA? Can you elaborate?

She said she wanted to take pictures of her work to prove that she doesn’t make mistakes.

But taking pictures would violate HIPPA so she can’t do that.

She works in chiropractor office so taking pictures would include personal info of patients or other stuff related to patients, so it can’t be done
Thanks for this!

This sounds all too familiar for so many I am sure. I had one of these .. she was my boss. She was pretty much a high school grad whos husband was best friends with her husband.. Only reason she has her job. well I made her look like an incompetent idiot a few times. I was with the Co for over five years.. I was Pt and promoted to a manager in little over a year .. I made the owner a lot of money... Well he gets to being tired of being in the corporate office and puts her in charge.. All of the sudden I am the company idiot... Once she had a little authority. She started making up **** about me. Id find someone using my logon info from an outside computer... and numbers were suddenly wrong... long story short she fired me because she didnt have to go thru the owner anymore... I was pissed for a long time.. We live in this society now.. I cant give advice that can change peoples opinions about you. seems like if they dont like you... they never will..

Is it possible to copy or print entries but redact the information that would be sensitive or personal on the copies? Either with a Sharpie or correction tape?

I've had something similar happen to me, someone lied about something I had done and I had proof. Fortunately I didn't have to redact any information in that setting, but if I had ever needed to take it further I would have had to.

I feel for you as it is difficult to prove things like this and you feel totally helpless.

I'll see if i can print might be possible maybe. It's a secure database so printing options are limited. But that's a good suggestion.
