Hi everyone. I'm glad to be here and have such an opportunity to post here and share with you my story. Some time ago I've started my studies at Stanford University in Literature. I love poetry and writing so much. I'd love to do it during all my life .... But during corona I've lost my job, and now I don't have money to pay my studies.....I hate this because I believe that there are so much people with the same problem. Guys how are you dealing with this?

Hello Gakonda: I'm sorry I'm not able to comment with regard to your concern. However I noticed this is your first post here on PC so... welcome to Psych Central. I hope you find PC to be of benefit.

Can you take a student loan?
I went to both undergraduate and graduate school part time while working full time and taking student loans. Sure I had to borrow ton of money but it’s still better than not obtaining education and a good career. If not student loans, I’d never went to school and would never have a career I love. Not too many people can pay for education in full and only some are lucky that their parents pay for it. You can take a loan even if you don’t work at all. |

Have you looked into grants and scholarships? I understand how you feel. Even with free online courses it's not easy. Good luck. I hope you get to keep in studying.
