Ive just been laid off from work in feb 24. I worked as pharmacy tech trainee. Despite looking for work, all employers just looked elsewhere because it doesn't matter that i am about to be homeless. I don't know what to do aside from killing myself.

I can't do anything with id.me because it asked for phone number but it's not registered to me. so i'm out of luck for unemployment benefits. i am not even sure what i'm doing wrong and quite frankly, i'm done.

i've done too much to fight against poverty, to achieve my dreams and to do something to improve my life. i'm done because everytime i tried, everything has to destroy it all; covid 19, taation and more. i'm sick of looking for work. i just want to die. i can't do this anymore.

Dear FridayT,

What a heartbreaking, heartbreaking situation. Just reading what you wrote brought my eyes to tears. I wish I knew what to say to help. You deserve so much better from life. I have always had the highest respect for pharmacy techs. Many of my friends are in this field. I hope something changes for the better for you. I know that what I wrote is a pathetic response but I don't know what to say and my English is not good enough for expressing my thoughts and feelings.

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen

Thanks for this!

Please don't give up!! Life is hard for everybody. I lost my job too a long time ago and felt the same way. But, now I found another more doable job. I have been homeless too and relied on the Rescue Mission for help. I must say life does get better with time. Don't give up looking for a job and hopefully you can receive government aid also. I know that it seems impossible to get out of your situation, but as long as you persevere, there is hope. Go to food banks for food and rely on your local shelter for a place to sleep. I have been there too and know it seems there is no way out. But, there will be. It took me several years to recover from being homeless so be patient with yourself. Life will improve once most people get vaccinated. The economy will rebound again so please hang in there!! You have so much to live for so don't give up!! We are here to listen to you, so please keep writing here and keeping us informed of your situation! Best wishes!! And, please remember you are loved by those who care about you and want the best for you.

I am sorry to hear that. Just give them whatever phone number you are using. Or someone else’s (if they ok with it). Grocery stores hire all the time. For sure *****art type of stores. Is there one by you? Which stores do you have Meter or Kroger? Those hire all the time. Give it a try

I don’t know why name of *****art is being blocked
