I'm no genius. I'm the opposite of a genius. I'm as dumb as they come. Will I ever be able to get a job?? I have asked my psychiatrist, and he said that people with my condition can hold down a job. He recommended that I start out working part-time rather than full-time. Or I could even just work casually to start out.

Sometimes I feel like I cannot delineate what I am thinking or feeling.

The only reason I know what "delineate" means is because I consciously spent time on committing the meaning of that word to my memory.

I only seem like a genius, but I'm not. It's part of my personality disorder.

You know, being a genius or very smart isn't necessary the only thing that gets people hired or succeed in the workplace or anywhere else. Plenty of very smart people have no ability to work as a team or take direction, follow instructions, or meet deadlines. (Those also aren't the only things that are important to employers.) Besides high intellectual capacity, what are your other abilities and capacities that an employer might need? Let me tell you something, as an employer, a lot of us would just like to find people who show up on time, can type, and follow instructions. I don't need a genius. I am certain that you have a lot of traits that employers would value highly. You just have to identify what those are within yourself, and learn how to sell them to employers, and find the employers that need those traits. Not everyone needs to be fraking Steve Jobs. __________________ What if I fall? Oh, my dear, but what if you fly? As someone with genius level iq I can tell you that although I’m employed I’m extremely unhappy. If you’re not Steve Jobs and can’t invent your own company you may be miserable . A high iq can be a huge liability .
