I'm on SSDI right now, but have been feeling better, somewhat. I would like to try for a job, it might be good for me, the routine and social interaction. BUt I'm affraid about the stress and the anxiety only making me sicker. Not to mention having to generate excuses for all the doc appoitments and days when I simply will not be able to be 100% reliable and would need accomidation. Then there is the bringing up the whole M.I. thing which I would just about have to do to cover my work gap but mostly my "off" behavior. Any thoughts?

Do you think the stress/anxiety would go down if you started off working just one day a week? It really does seem worth a try. I've had friends who had good luck with the Ticket to Work program. Even if you just do it for a while, it's a nice change of pace.
