I took a Valium about an hour before my interview on Saturday. I felt totally baked during the interview. I’m wondering if the manager could tell I was on something. I had trouble answering a couple of his questions and I felt like I seemed checked out the whole time. I haven’t gotten a call back yet despite being told I would get a call either yesterday or today. I’m wondering if they thought I was high or something. Of course there are a few bigger reasons why they wouldn’t hire me. But I did seem to fail the interview a bit due to the Valium.

Dear Mountaindewed,

That is a good question. I've never been in that situation though.

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen

Personally, I am able to function completely fine on a benzo.

I've felt similarly when on benzos. I mean, it doesn't necessarily give me the mental acuity I want during an interview.
