They are really pushing me to take more hours constantly. I'm debating about telling them I'm disabled. I've been keeping it quiet but the pressure gets to me.

I was looking for a different job but no one wants someone who will only work 20 hours a week. At this job I don't even manage that. I've been there 10 months, and my boss put me in additional training.

He's saying we need to work our assigned hours, I'm assigned 27 all along told them 20, from day 1. I've worked more these two weeks cause of the added pressure, and easier to schedule clients. Still not even 20 but long days. Punch in and out alot.

I think when you tell your employer about disability, its called disclosure and there are laws to protect those who have disabilities and need accommodations (such as needing to work less hours). Its scary to think about possible discrimination from disclosing a disability. But they can't fire you on that basis or anything and I would hope the supervisor you tell would keep in confidential. I don't know if there are laws about that or not but its (keeping it mum) the professional thing to do. What do your support workers say you should do?
Thanks for this!
