Anybody else get stuck in this? I finally found a job that was flexible enough for me to work, and now I'm afraid to push because I'm just so grateful for it. But I'm also being way underpaid and need to ask for a raise. But because i've always worked contract work I've never had to before. Help?

Do you have official work reviews annually in this job? That's when your performance is reviewed and assessed and is typically when the issue of a raise comes into play. Raises are performance-based most often, unless you are a part of a Union. Even if you're being underpaid, they don't necessarily owe you a raise.
