Time Card issues. We have a complex system that doesn't always save info. even after saving. So now I have to keep detailed records on like a word doc and submit to my supervisor nightly. It's not as bad as it felt initially but we'll see how it goes.

Was worried with director coming to my one to one in the office they were thinking of firing me. But the seniors where I live said unlikely. So now I think she wants me to sign something saying yes I'm written up.

I'm sad it's not totally my fault. But my memory kind of sucks and when they ask about stuff from two weeks ago I don't remember exactly.

Do you have any diagnosed "official" disabilities that would enable you to have legally protected work accommodations?

She most certainly does but record keeping is essential to many jobs. None negotiable. But the manner in which she keeps record could be accommodated like type versus write or dictate etc they can’t demand she remembers things but they can demand that she keeps records. If people are completely unable to keep record then this job might not be for them.

Aviza my memory sucks too but that’s why keeping daily records might actually be the only solution. Type them up and save. Then no one can say anything. No big deal about write up. Don’t let it bring you down

I agree, it sounds like keeping records and putting them in an excel, google doc or similar is probably your best bet. I have certain things I need to follow up on with work. Once I slipped up and forgot to do so. From then on, I have made note of each case in a spreadsheet and once a week I open it and do the follow ups I need. I then put updates in the task management system my client uses. It has helped me avoid problems.

Can you make some sort of notes about your work, every time you need to document anything get it writ down straight away?

They don't want me doc in system right now maybe in a few months my note keeping is going well.
