I have only experience working as cashier in a grocery store. But that was more than fifteen years ago. I feel like I am being discriminated against due to the fact that I have not worked in fifteen years. It sucks.

Sorry to hear. my suggestion; go to the workforce center, build up some skills. They will help get you back into the workforce. They offer free classes and guidance.

I work with people everyday who are in the same position. There are programs out there to help people out who have mental illness and have not worked in a while. One that I can speak of is IPS (Individual Placement and Support). Check your local area and see if you have programs like this.
