I'm in a structured and ridgid work environment, looking for motivation to find some else. Maybe using more creativity and collaborative. Experience sharing.

What about your career fulfills you?

1. Making a difference.
I made a big difference in many people’s lives. I keep in touch with many. I know what they are up to and sometimes help them further in life too. Sometimes it was very hard because I had to knock on a lot of doors to help them. But knowing how far people come makes it all worth it

2. My work days are very busy, fast pace, surrounded by many people, it’s often loud and never boring. Slow pace, quiet and boring work wouldn’t do it for me

3. Lots of laughs. I laugh at work more than I do anywhere else

4. There’s always something new to learn, explore, figure out. Lots of problem solving.

5. Some great colleagues/team members

6. Minimal supervision. I’ve been in my career for so long that there’s no need for anyone to micromanage me. I don’t like to be micromanaged

I get to help people discover or nurture their creativity through simple writing practices, and then share in the results.

My biggest thrill at work is when someone I talked with 4-6 months ago, calls in and tells me that something I said to them really helped them and they've made changes in their life

I'm a vet assist, and it feels good to be around and help out both the animals and the other staff. It keeps me very busy. You meet a lot of really cool people along the way, make friends, laugh a lot. There are a lot of tears, but it's worth it.
