I was pleasantly surprised today to get an email from my supervisor today telling me that I got a $3/hour raise. This is a significant increase to what I'd been making. And it was totally unexpected - I hadn't even asked about a possible raise as I'd previously been told that the organization didn't have the funds to give experienced staff raises beyond our one year increase on our first anniversary But it makes sense since they're having trouble retaining people and the experienced people are all getting called in, regularly to cover open shifts.

So I'm happy.
