Have you ever reached out to social services to help one of your customers? Is that even possible? I have an elderly, low income, fixed income customer who is struggling. We live in a rural area. They have adult children, but don’t know where they are. Thank you.

I think you can report / request with an elder aid agency, city or county? They would have been listed in the phone book, so maybe online now? Or call a police non-emergency number? Not sure what youre asking for.

I have a customer needing help outside of the scope of what services we provide but I don’t know how to go about getting them that help, if they would accept it, or if notifying an agency would make the situation worse. I’m out of my element and my boss is useless. The customer needs help with transportation and money management from what I know about, but who knows what else. Thank you.

I sent a message to a local agency. My family member used to volunteer for them, so they are a somewhat known entity. Now we wait.
