*nods* I've tried them, and none of them really work like cutting does.

I really want to give it up because I know it hurts my friends and family to see me do this to myself, and I don't want to hurt them anymore. Also, I'm sick of seeing my scars, and constantly being reminded of what I'm doing to myself. It's also not as bad as it could be, and I really want to stop it before it has the chance to get any worse.
