I've used that before too, I think. My virus detector, which is trend micro, turned out to be the problem. I had the virus removed, and the virus detector had a firewall up and wouldn't let me online. My husband took my laptop to work and had one of their techies figure it out today. It's my own computer, but I use it so that I can do some of my work from home. It seems to be fine now, but I won't be re-subscribing to Trend Micro again.
