I don't want to hijack Shangrala's thread but wanted to clarify about the visa. It's very difficult to get visa's for folks from certain countries and the fact that our age difference was so great (older woman/younger man as opposed to the other way around) it was a huge red flag.
Anywho....it's just not easily done in many cases.
