I had a similar conversation with my psychiatrist today and she was talking about when the wrong meds are prescribed, they can cause anger and anxiety. Maybe it has something to do with your meds and if they are right for you. My doctor was talking about antidepressants and other drugs like Klonopin or Ativan, Xanax, things like that working against bipolar mood swings to cause the unwanted anger and irritability.

I don't know if that addresses your situation.

As far as other bipolar supports, there is DBSA (depression, bipolar support alliance). I am sure if you Google it you will find some others.
