I'd rather someone 'burden' me than know they're suffering in pain and despair because no one stops to listen. Caring about a person is not a burden, it's being human and opening one's heart to loving and being loved in return. It can be a chance encounter or a lifelong friendship, but taking that moment to care is what makes us different than those people who accept our "I'm fine" as a real answer.

Though writing IS a good way to blow off steam, I agree.

I just wanted to point out that it's okay to share. Isn't that what we're here for? To be supported and support one another.
