I have recently gone into the chat and sorted through who needs help that I can give. It is a bit awkward to be "away" and in a private chat in the support room, and I know that it bothers some in the chat room itself, wondering if people are just lurking and watching what they say. To each his own I guess.  Too many aren't up to moving into a private chat room, maybe too deep in the throes of confusion ... and often a member doesn't know how to use the private chat window and the text goes up on the main chat (whether where others can read it or not( can be confusing as well.
I have found that when there are many in the chat room there are still only about 3 ppl chatting. If everyone is chatting, it's generally not a support chat but a social chat then lol. 
"Just" be considerate I guess.
