But today the collegue of my dad told my mom that. My dad left us to go with a woman to Las Vegas. He said that he was on the phone and said How could you leave your family for a woman? Are you crazy? And my dad replied "What can i do? I like her" and he left. And this man asked my mom for his contact because they have lost touch in 6 months. I am not the most charming kid. I'm 14. And i'm a big guy. My dad always says to lose weight. And he i trusted him. I'm not good at sharing my feelings, but i want to talk about this with someone. Our house is not financially safe. My mom works long hours at work. My dad barely provides for us. Recently no one has been able to contact his phone. I trusted my dad. I was accepted into a high school with the ability to be in a medical program because i want to be a doctor. but i gave that up for a public school because we have no money. Mean while my dad lives in vegas with a woman we don't know. WHAT DO I DO.... please.. help me. i want to scream and cry. we are supposed to be moving houses next week but my dad is not even answering his phone

I can just imagine how you are feeling. Sometimes we need to separate ourselves from other people’s problems, however when it is family this can be very difficult. If you can start thinking that this is your parent’s problem and you have your entire life head of yourself to think about you may be able to focus on your life and not theirs. Your parents will be fine and your mom loves you and will take care of you, that's what moms do. You said that you wanted to be a Dr. My uncle is a retired Dr and his dad died when he was very young. They were very poor. I don't know where you live but with my uncle his grades were really good and the government helped to pay for his education and that was over 50 years ago. There are far more opportunities available know then there was then. If I were you I would work very hard and get really good grades and then you will be amazed at what will be available for you when you will need it to continue your education. Live one day at a time every day is a new day with new opportunities available to you.
