You're not crazy. The kitties need help and you are helping. My sister collects neighborhood cats and gets them spayed and neutered then puts them back out. She makes "houses" for them on her porch when it gets cold. She found someone who spays and neuters real cheap since she does so many. You are an angel for doing that.
