It's great that you're starting to feel better both with yourself and about the counseling. I'm glad your husband did decide to go, I'm sure that had to make you feel better too. Is 6 or 7 weeks a normal wait for an appt though? Wow! That's an awfully long time... But it's worth it's if it gets you both where you want to be, right? I'm really impressed with the attitude of the doc you saw today about wanting to see you another time before rx'ing anything to you (provided you're not in dire need that is). Too many docs these days just seem too willing to throw the first med that comes to mind at their new patients and don't take the time to get to know what's going on with them. This guy wanting wanting to get to know you better first is really a good sign that's he really looking out for your best interests. When do you see him next? Let us know what happens.
