I think we've all been outraged by the unkind, inconsiderate and ignorant things people have been told in the thread on the worst "support" we ever got. So to flip that around, I'd love to hear about the most supportive thing you've ever been told.
For me, it was my husband saying that he doesn't see the disorder, he only sees me as a whole person and that who I am and what I mean to him hasn't changed since the dx.
So how about you? What's the kindest, most understanding, most accepting thing that anyone has told you in response to learning that you have bipolar? Or just about you in general?
